This policy explains how CodeGuard (“we”, “us”) handles personal information collected through codeguard.site and our early-access program. Questions: hello@codeguard.site.
Information we collect
- Details you submit in our forms: name, business email, company, company size, primary use case, topic and message.
- Basic technical data our hosting provider records when serving the site, such as IP address, browser type and request time, used for security and reliability.
- For early-access teams who connect GitHub: repository metadata and the source code of repositories you select, processed only to perform security scans.
The website does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
How we use it
- To respond to enquiries and manage early-access participation.
- To provide, secure and improve the CodeGuard service.
- To send service communications you requested. We do not sell personal information.
Source code
Code from repositories you authorise is analysed in isolated, short-lived workers and is not used to train AI models. Scan results and artifacts are stored encrypted. Specific retention and handling terms for repository data are set out in the early-access agreement.
Service providers
We use infrastructure providers to operate the site and service, including Amazon Web Services for hosting, storage, AI processing (Amazon Bedrock) and email, and GitHub for repository access you authorise. If a third-party form service is used to receive submissions, it processes form data on our behalf.
Retention
Enquiry data is kept as long as needed to respond and manage the relationship, then deleted. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your personal information, or object to its processing. Email hello@codeguard.site and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Security
We use access controls, encryption in transit and at rest, and isolation of scanning workloads. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above.
